The Bon Accord Motorcycle club have a long and successful history of running motocross events but it's been a number of years since we lost our permanent track at Netherwindings near Stonehaven. Long standing club stalwart Robbie Allan has recently received planning permission for Scotland biggest full time motocross park with five full tracks to suit all types and ages of riders and events at Tinto Park in Lanarkshire. Yes, Lanarkshire is a long way from the clubs home ground in Aberdeenshire but the club has proved in the past that distance is no object having run successful events all over Scotland in the past including the introduction of Supermoto to Scotland at the Inglestone Highland Show Ground.
The club have a share the venue with Robbie so its also in our interest to ensure that this new and exciting motocross venture is a success. The park will have its own website at www.timitopark.com where everything you want to know should be available.
