How do I get started in Motorcycle sport?

Getting started is easy! First, choose your discipline—Trials, Enduro, Motocross, or Supermoto.

You'll need basic protective gear (helmet, gloves, boots) and a suitable bike for your chosen sport.Join BAMCC to access events, training, and a great community of riders.

Some competitions require an SACU or ACU licence, but beginners can often join practice events without one.

Is there a list of venues the club uses?

Yep there sure is, however you should pay attention to the restrictions of use.

Practice at any of these venues is expressly forbidden without permission from the relevant landowner.

Failure to observe this rule will lead to the club no longer being able to use the ground and for individuals may well lead to withdrawal of club membership.

You can find all of the venues on Google Maps.

I want to help but don’t ride—can I still get involved?

Yes! We’re always looking for volunteers to help with event organisation, marshalling, and course setup.

If you’d like to get involved, get in touch with us—you’ll be part of the action while supporting the sport.
