BAMCC on display at Autofest Aberdeen
No mud or rocks or rain today however BAMCC were out and about at Autofest Aberdeen at TECA in Aberdeen today. We were joined on the stand by Joe and Oli Purkis, getting some much needed publicity for their round the world expedition planned for next year.
We were surrounded by some of the most recognisable supercar names; Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini and Aston Martin but it was the Oset, Triumph, TRS and Bultaco on the stand that attracted the attention of many visitors to the festival. I wouldn't like to estimate the collective value of the cars in that main hall.
It was a great experience for us, lots of folk genuinely interested in what we do and how to get into off road motorcycling. It wasn't just youngsters but the more mature individuals interested in getting back on bikes and we'll hopefully see them somewhere later in the year either at a trial or at D2D. Thanks to everyone who took the time to chat.
Big thanks to Autofest Aberdeen for inviting us, it was a really positive day for Bon Accord.
From me, a big thanks to Dave McPherson for taking a lead on this and to Steve Gammie, Phil Howard, Carolyn Young and Derek Ramsay for helping us out this weekend.
Cheers
Donald
