Fifty brave souls enjoyed a bit off roading

Despite the horrible insistent drizzle and cold wind nearly fifty riders enjoyed a taste of off road riding at our D2D practice day in Fetteresso forest yesterday. I had the privilige of seeing the whole course from the drivers seat of a cosy pick up truck whilst clearing up and even I could see that much fun had been had on a varied twisty 10 mile course contained entirely within the forest. Hopefully you all got home safe and thawed out eventually. Big thanks to FLS for allowing the day to happen and just a reminder that thanks to Scots Law it is illegal to ride anywhere off-road unless you have permission from the land owner. Failure to follow this instruction only makes our life harder when we try to organise legal events. Big thanks to Derek and Murray for their efforts in setting this out and tidying up afterwards.

P.S. Big well done to Helen who had her first go at off roading yesterday, I'll just say she loved it and I've no doubt she'll be back soon.
