Summary of the 2025 AGM

After 14 years at the helm Bill McGregor has stepped down from his role as Club President and is replaced by Donald Young.
The big news from the 2025 AGM is very much out with the old and in with the new.
After 14 years at the helm Bill McGregor has stepped down from his role as Club President and is replaced by me, Donald Young.
I doubt there’s enough we can say in appreciation of the efforts Bill has made to put BAMCC in the position it’s in. His careful tutelage, fiscal control and doggedness in doing what’s right for the club leaves us in a great position. Thankfully, we are not losing Bill, he’ll stay on as Club Secretary and hopefully some other things will open up in the new year. On behalf of the rest of the membership, thanks Bill.
I’d also like to say a huge thanks to Di as she steps away from the secretary role. Combining that with the club treasury, Di’s contribution to the club is immeasurable over the last 25 years or more. She’ll stay as Treasurer. Bill said it on Wednesday night, we are a team and that BAMCC team does a cracking job at putting on some exceptional events. Let’s see what we can build in the future.

Club membership for 2026 is open now at https://theentrypoint.co.uk/events/bon-accord-club-membership-2026-5oMzQOkpz6eZl7p A wee reminder that SACU licences do not expire until 31/01/2026 and that the portal for 2026 licences does not open until 01/01/2026.
Hopefully we will have a full calendar of events published in the next week or two but it's looking like the usual full calendar with a Championship Trial and at least one Championship Enduro, D2D will be back on August 30th with a practice day in March, 10 or possibly 11 rounds will make up the main club trials championship supplemented by four Wednesday evening trials.
Yours in Sport,
Donald Young
